The Malta Rock Climbing Club will be organising a Rock Climbing Event at Wied Babu, Zurrieq on Saturday 21st January at 10am. The Event is open to anyone, from beginners to die hard rock climbers as the location offers routes of various grades suiting everyone’s climbing abilities. If you own a copy of the Malta Rock Climbing Guide Book, you can view the location on pages 134 – 136. We advise you to bring with you plenty of water as well as your own gear if you have any, although we do have some equipment which we can spare, mainly harnesses, shoes and helmets. Also make sure to bring a torch with you, as it will be dark by the time we finish. A map has been included indicating the route to Wied Babu starting from the main road leading into Zurrieq, and finishing at the ladder which allows easy access to the valley. Kindly confirm if you shall be attending.
